Finalmente, la hija que Katy Perry y Orlando Bloom estaban esperando, nació: se llama Daisy Dove y, de acuerdo al texto que reprodujeron en sus redes sociales, llegó al mundo en perfectas condiciones.

Sin embargo, más que un típico posteo para celebrar, los actores aprovecharon el momento para concientizar: "Sabemos que somos afortunados y que no todos pueden tener un parto tan tranquilo como lo fue el nuestro. Comunidades de todo el mundo están lidiando con la escasez de los trabajadores de la salud y cada 11 segundos una mujer embarazada o un recién nacido mueren, la mayoría por causas prevenibles".

Desde su rol de embajadores de UNICEF, la pareja abrió una página de donaciones con el nombre de su hija para reunir fondos y ayudar a brindar un "comienzo de vida seguro" para cada niño y niña alrededor del mundo.
