<p>El disco, comúnmente abreviado como Lola Versus Powerman, o simplemente Lola, es el octavo álbum de estudio de The Kinks, grabado y lanzado en 1970. <span style="background-color:#27ae60;">Un álbum conceptual adelantado a su tiempo.&nbsp; </span></p> 
<p>Contenía dos exitosos singles: <strong>"Lola", </strong>que llegó al puesto 9 en USA y al 2 en el Reino Unido y Alemania, lo que lo convertía en el mayor éxito de The Kinks desde<strong> "Sunny Afternoon", </strong>de 1966, y "Apeman", que alcanzó el puesto 5 en el Reino Unido y Alemania.</p> 
<p>Además se incluye el bonus track <strong>"Any Time",</strong> a la que los hermanos Davies escribieron como un posible lado B de "Apeman" y que incluye versiones inéditas y extractos de varias canciones de The Kinks del álbum "Lola", así como efectos de sonido y "relatos" añadidos.<span></span></p>
